WHY WEAR A PENTACLE NECKLACE?

If you are a true Wiccan or starting to practice Wicca, then I don’t have to tell you the reasons why you should wear one. And if you don’t have one, then don’t waste time reading this and get one!

Now, for those of you who are still learning the sacred belief of Wicca with the hope of one day being a full-fledged and powerful Wiccan, read on and let me tell you the importance of wearing a Pentacle.

A Pentacle is the single most powerful symbol of the ancients. It traverses many religions and is often misinterpreted as a dark symbol and harbinger of dark magick. Do not be misled by this misinterpretation, and although I could go on and on about its significance and importance, you only need to know 5 good reasons for wearing one:

IF YOU LOVE AND CARE FOR NATURE, THE PENTACLE IS THE BEST SYMBOL TO SHOW IT

The Pentacle is the best representation of Nature. The Four elements of Nature: Earth (lower left point), Air (upper left point), Fire (lower right point) and Water (upper right point), are best represented by the points of the Pentacle. And the fifth point pointing upwards is the quintessential fifth element of nature, which is the Divine Spirit.

A pentacle necklace will help you get in touch with the divine and get a deeper connection to nature.

IT REPRESENTS THE NUMBER 5, WHICH IS THE MOST MYSTICAL AND MAGICKAL NUMBER

The number 5, is very mystical and magickal, and essentially human. We have 5 fingers and toes. We have five senses – sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste. We perceive 5 stages in our lives – birth, adolescence, coitus, parenthood and death. In Christianity, 5 was the number of the wounds of Christ nailed on the cross. In the Muslim faith, there are five pillars and five daily prayers. And, the WICCAN KISS is fivefold – feet, knees, womb, breasts and lips.

IT ENHANCES YOUR ABILITIES

Your Pentacle can be worn as a talisman or amulet. When carved from wood, your pentacle is linked to nature and the natural world. When made from gold, it gives off mental clarity, energy and wisdom. And, when forged from silver, your link to the Moon and Psychic energies are at its strongest.
